During a phone call, Al-madhoun denounced the attack on the father of the Jordanian detainee Osaid Abu Khdair

Baha Al-Din Al-Madhoun, Undersecretary of the Ministry of detainees in Gaza, denounced the attack on the father of the Jordanian prisoner, Osaid Abu Khdeir, during the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinians, which was titled “Freedom for the detainees in the Occupation Prisons.”

Al-Madhoun considered that such attitudes are unacceptable and not befitting the sacrifices of the detainees and their families, and that this is an attack on all the families and detainees. He stressed on the need to respect this group that sacrificed and struggled in order to live with dignity, especially since this attack came after his defense of the resistance.

It is noteworthy that the prisoner, Osaid Abu Khdeir, was arrested in 2017 and sentenced to two years in prison. He is married and a father of a six-year-old girl. He is the brother of the two freed detainess Anas and Ahmed Abu Khdeir.
