Ministry of Detainees calls for interaction and participation in (Right to life) campaign which aims at shedding more light on the case of sick detainees who suffer from medical negligence and exposing the occupation’s crimes.
The Ministry participated in launching the campaign of (Right to life) during a press conference which was held in front of the house of the sick detainee Nahed Al-Aqraa with the participation of all institutions working in supporting the detainees.
The Ministry explained that this national campaign aims to expose the occupation’s crimes against Palestinian detainees who are subjected to the policy of medical negligence which is a clear violation of international laws.
The week-long campaign includes many activities and events ranging from media to electronic to field events organized by Palestinians from the West bank and the Gaza Strip.
It is noteworthy that more than (550) detainees suffer from diseases of various degrees and are in need of intensive health care, among them prisoners who suffer from cancer and tumors of various degrees. Among them Fouad Al-Shobaki (82 years), who is the oldest of the prisoners, and the detainee Nasser Abu Hamid, in addition to Israa Al-Jaabis and other sick detainees.
